This is a rework of a painting I did several years ago.  The colors were washed out and the format did not work.

This painting is from a sketch I did recently with the Portland Urban Sketchers (http://urbansketchers-portland.blogspot.com/). It is in the Eliot Neighborhood where I live in NE Portlnd.. You can see Big Pink, Koin Tower and other buildings across the river,

This is the source image for the paining below. This is me inspecting one of my fiber optic crossings on top of the I-5 bridge from Vancouver, WA to Portland, OR. Photo taken 20 years ago when I could still climb the 200 foot tower without losing my breath.

Painted in the studio from the photo above. I added Mt St Helens and Mt Adams.

This is a painting I did in the studio from a photo. It is a 180 degree view from NW Broadway looking east at the Portland Train Station.
